5 Days Cairo, Luxor & Aswan by Train

This 5-day itinerary is designed for African American and Black travelers who want to experience Egypt as an African story, from ancient Kemet to the Nubian south.

Stand before the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, walk through thousands of years of history at the Grand Egyptian Museum, and feel the energy of historic Cairo and the Khan El Khalili bazaar. In Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, walk the great halls of Karnak and Luxor Temple, descend into the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings, and visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. In Aswan, the gateway to Nubia, visit Philae Temple, sail a felucca on the Nile at sunset, and spend time with Nubian culture, a living part of Egypt’s African heritage.

Why travel with Black Egypt Tours: licensed English-speaking Egyptologist guides who tell Egypt’s story as an African civilization, private transfers, hand-picked hotels and cruises, and 24/7 WhatsApp support from arrival to departure. Traveling as a family, a couple, or with your church, sorority, fraternity, or community group? We can adapt this itinerary for you.
