Tour Itinerary
After picking you up at the hotel or boat where you are staying, we will head to the Luxor Museum, the second most visited museum in the country, second only to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
This museum contains pieces that were excavated from historic sites in the region, such as the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Jewelry, ceramics, statues, and stelae are part of the extensive collection. Some of the museum's masterpieces are certain objects from Tutankhamun, the statue of Thutmose III, and the mural from the Temple of Karnak.
Our next stop is the Mummification Museum, protected by the jackal-headed god Anubis. Inaugurated in 1997, this museum perfectly explains the 70 days that the mummification process lasted.
Throughout the visit, you will discover many curiosities about the rite, such as the stellar origin of the instruments, or the social exclusion suffered by the workers.
After this interesting "master of history", we will take you back to your accommodation.
