7 Days Tour Package from Cairo to Luxor and Alexandria

This 7-day itinerary is designed for African American and Black travelers who want to experience Egypt as an African story, from ancient Kemet to the Nubian south.

Stand before the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, walk through thousands of years of history at the Grand Egyptian Museum, and feel the energy of historic Cairo and the Khan El Khalili bazaar. In Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, walk the great halls of Karnak and Luxor Temple, descend into the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings, and visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

On arrival in Cairo, our representative meets you with a Black Egypt Tours sign and takes you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo – Great Pyramids, Saqqara & Memphis

After breakfast, explore the Giza Plateau and the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, alongside the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Stand face to face with the Great Sphinx and walk through the Valley Temple beside it. At Saqqara, see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the oldest monumental stone buildings in the world. In Memphis, the first capital of a united Egypt, see the colossal statue of Ramses II. Then take a short domestic flight to Luxor. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Luxor West Bank Day Tour

After breakfast, cross to the West Bank and descend into the painted royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings. Visit the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, set against towering cliffs. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant seated statues of Amenhotep III. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor East Bank Day Tour

After breakfast, explore Karnak Temple, where the Great Hypostyle Hall’s forest of 134 giant columns is one of the most powerful sights in Egypt. Visit Luxor Temple, the great sanctuary at the heart of ancient Thebes. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: Old Cairo Day Tour

Start with a short domestic flight to Cairo. At the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, your Egyptologist walks you through masterpieces from every era of ancient Egypt. Visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, with sweeping views over Cairo. Browse the Khan El Khalili bazaar for spices, jewelry, and souvenirs, and stop for mint tea in the heart of old Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 6: Alexandria Day Tour

After breakfast, descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, where Egyptian and Roman styles meet underground. Visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a striking modern tribute to the great library of antiquity. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight home, with memories to last a lifetime.

Price Policy

Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars per person per trip and can be paid in EUR or GBP.

Children Policy

The children’s policy applies to children who share a room with their parents. If your trip includes a flight ticket, additional fees for your children may apply.

Children under 2 years of age can travel free of charge with their parents.
From 2 to 6 years old: 25% of the adult price
From 6 to 11 years old: 50% of the adult price
Children aged 12 and over-travel at the same fare as adults.

Deposit

Once your itinerary is confirmed, we will collect 25% of the agreed final trip value as a deposit, which can be paid via Online Payment, PayPal, or Western Union.

Tipping

Tipping is part of the Egyptian culture to express one's satisfaction with the good services provided to him by his duty staff. It would be nice to give it when you are satisfied with our services and if not then you don't have to do it.

Cancellation Policy

Important Note: If your trip includes a domestic flight or a Nile cruise, know that there is no refund for the booking value in the event of cancellation of the trip according to the policy of Nile cruises and airlines companies.

30 days before the trip 100% refund.
20 days before the trip 50% refund.
10 days before the trip no refund.
